The Chimera is a horrendous fire-breathing beast from Greek mythology.It was slayed by Bellerophen.
There are two variations of the chimera:
- It has the head of a lion,the body of a giant goat and the tail of a serpent with poisonous spines down its back.
- It has the head of a lion andthe body of a goat.A goat's head jutted out from its back and its tail was a live snake.
Both variations of the Chimera breathe fire and are deadly poisonous.The Chimera's goat-like body allowed it to move swiftly and its lion's head was armed with extremely sharp teeth.
- The Chimera is the sister of Cerberus.
